Cost? In most cases, the cost is not an entrance fee or cover charge. For mixer events, the cost is usually the approximate cost of the dinner and the drinks at the venue. If there is a non-member and member cost, it will be explicitly noted.
How to Discover More Passion in Your Career
Did you invest a fortune in time, energy and money getting where you are only to find that it wasn’t as satisfying as you expected?
Have you gotten “there” only to discover it doesn’t feel like the “there” you imagined?

Then come on out to the first NAAAP-DC professional development event of the year. We will first enjoy a buffet dinner, then listen to a 60 minute interactive presentation by local executive coach Chris Dachi. We will explore some of the options for discovering or creating more passion in your career.

Using the cutting edge techniques developed from the theory and practice of executive coaching we will discuss:

· Could your answer lie in finding alternative career paths for your profession?
· Can you find ways to be more passionate in the job you have now?
· Are you balancing your priorities in the optimal way?
· Would promoting yourself better change your success trajectory?
· What best practices communication methodologies could I be employing?

Bring your curiosity and be prepared to challenge some of the assumptions that you may have about your career. You too can be the architect of your own destiny.

As the son of a US Foreign Service officer, Christopher Dachi has lived in six countries in eleven years. His life experience has led him to have a particular appreciation for the value that diversity in gender, race, culture, religion, and ideology brings to the world we live in.

After graduating from George Washington University with degrees in International Affairs and Law, he worked as an estate planning and litigation attorney before pursuing a career in politics, working for several Congressmen, the Export-Import Bank, and the Department of Agriculture. In recent years, he has worked as a consultant for such groups as Prudential Financial, the Women’s Institute for Secure Retirement, George Washington University, and for the past seven years has worked as an Executive, Leadership, and Life Coach.

He is an experienced public speaker, having addresses hundreds of groups of various sizes over the years.

Chris has a particular interest in helping individuals become more powerful leaders in their professional and personal lives. His emphasis is on gaining insight and perspective on your own as well as other’s internal stories that drive all of your actions. In doing so he helps people achieve greater clarity about their own goals, objectives, and most importantly their core inner values. The objective is to help you become much more effective listeners and communicators and be able to see the direct connection between your beliefs – your actions – and your desired outcomes.
